Where ever you go in this world there are going to be some crazy desperate people.

Alex Vasquez, (yannibmbr) author of the blog, The Urban Dater wrote a post about a crazy text conversation that his buddy Rod had with this girl Melina. It was so interesting that I thought I would write a little post on my blog about it.

Well truthfully it was not so interesting as it was frustrating to read because Melina is so psycho, but I guess that is what made it so interesting. It really reminded me of yesterdays post, 3 Reasons Why Insecurities Are Difficult To Handle In A Relationship.

So the post on The Urban Dater is about how Rod meets Melina when he goes out, and how Melina is so desperately trying to get a hold of Rod afterwards. Rod is a busy guy and politely tells Melina that he will talk to her when he is not so busy.  This is not good enough for Melina though. She insists that she needs to talk now! She is really infatuated with Rod who she just met you know.

This is a really comical post and I urge you to read it.  I don’t want to spoil it for you though. You can read the original post on The Urban Dater’s blog it’s called: The Anatomy Of A Crazy Text Message.

I think that he thought the conversation of texts was over between the two so he published that, but Melina I guess was not quite done. So he had to write a second post which he just wrote yesterday. This blog post is called Anatomy Of A Crazy Text… Continued.

I urge you to check them out if you are looking for a laugh. My guess is Melina is still not even done bothering Rod and that there will probably be another post on The Urban Dater about crazy texts from Melina in the near future.

Being with someone who is insecure is difficult in many different ways. To name three of them: They constantly and/or consistently think they are:

1. Ugly and/or fat.
2. Not the center of your world.
3. Are having trust issues.

Since I have a couple of ex’s who were really insecure I have a little story to tell from previous experiences about these three reasons. Alright so here we go.

Hopefully everyone will enjoy these bits and pieces of my ex’s life and get enough information from them so you do not go through what I had to go through in order to learn what I did.

1. Ugly and/or fat.

My ex always thought she was for one ugly, and for two fat. I’m not talking about the normal thing “just saying your fat” kind of stuff because just about every female I know says stuff like that. It was seriously something that happened all the time.

The funniest part about it was she was not fat! It got so annoying hearing her say it all the time. It’s one thing to not be confident all the time, and it is another to not be confident all the time and put yourself down.

That is what she did all the time. Her insecurities with her body destroyed me. I would tell her that she looked good, when she really did. I would also tell her that she was not fat, because she really was not.

But nothing I could say or do could make her feel otherwise. She was just insecure about the relationship I guess.

Whenever I complimented her she would always say “You’re just saying that because you are my boyfriend.” That would seriously annoy the crap out of me.

I know what you are thinking, a lot of girls think they are fat. True, but when you are insecure you start hating on yourself for it. Most girls when they say they are fat, are not trying to hurt their own feelings like my ex would always do to herself.  This is why I put “ugly and/or fat” as the number one reason why being with someone who is insecure is difficult.

2. Not the center of your world.

Going out to eat has been a dating staple for centuries. It is the most common date for people to go on even to this day. You need to eat, so you might as well do it with your partner right?

Unfortunately, going out to eat with your partner can get kind of expensive. Which is why so many people say when they break up with someone they say a positive thing that comes out of it is that they will have more money! The truth is that relationships are one of the biggest reasons why the restaurant business is such a big one!

The positives that come out of taking your partner out are the following:

1. Get good food.
2. Show your partner that they are special to you.
3. Enjoy new experiences with them.
4. Have something to talk about.
5. Be able to have some “one on one time” to communicate with them with whatever you would like.
6. Show off your partner to the world.

I’m sure there are some more but those are just some off top of my head. I love taking my girlfriend out for all of those reasons. There is no better feeling then watching a guy check out my girlfriend but no that I am the one with her. :)

Although it is nice to take your partner out to eat there are also some negatives that come out of it. A few that I have come up with are:

For those of you reading this who are not seeing anyone and are sick of being single I’m going to tell you something really important. Ready? Well here it is. You will not and can not go places with the intention of trying to find someone that you can date.

I know you are thinking that you have some questions that you wish you could ask me huh? Well, let me clarify this because I know what you are most likely thinking. You are probably thinking “wait if I can’t be looking for someone when I am out, how I am going to find someone?” The answer is…

With Patience

I know that there are some of you out there who have been in a long term relationships that can’t stand the thought of not being with someone. So when your relationship of years and years breaks up you find someone a couple of weeks later that you are then attached to. Kind of like a replacement.

I’m actually guilty of this. When I broke up with my ex about 7 months ago, just about 2 weeks after this I started dating another girl. I did not know it would last as long as it has because we are still together. But I am really happy it did because she makes me really happy. I got really lucky. Nonetheless, the reason why we have been in such a solid and healthy relationship with each other is because we started dating naturally.
